This board position affords the Trustee with the opportunity to guide HLP's education and public awareness on topics of positive body image and sexual attraction. The Bear Rep is also expected to implement and improve education for the public and LGBTQ+ community that would enlighten those who are unaware of how bigger bodies influence relationship dynamics. This board member is also expected to organize social and educational events focusing on positive body image. The Bear Rep is expected to guide all HLP education and visibility to ensure that bigger bodied persons are always represented and made to feel welcomed.
